The Head Teacher and Governors of this happy, successful Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a part-time Clerical Assistant to support the Office Manager, 10.5 hours per week (term time only). This is temporary for 12 months in the first instance.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who will be a valuable team member, capable of working on their own initiative. The successful candidate will have excellent keyboard skills, effective communication skills and a pleasant manner. Experience of working in a busy office environment, utilising IT programmes and packages is essential as is support of the Catholic values and ethos of this Voluntary Aided School.
Knowledge of SIMS.net is advantageous.
Duties will include:
* Providing a welcoming reception at the front of school and dealing with all enquiries
* Carrying out and being responsible for the upkeep of manual records and the inputting of computerised
records and filing systems.
* Undertaking typing and word processing as required.
* Contacting parents/carers in relation to pupil absences.
* Recording, banking and accounting of all monies in relation to incoming monies.
* Any other duties which may be required by the Senior Leadership Team.
Confidentiality is very important for this post, together with excellent organisational and time management skills.
Total hours of work will be 10.5 to be worked as follows:-
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30 am – 12.00
