The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a Learning Assistant to join our happy and successful team to cover a period of maternity leave. This post is to start as soon as possible until the return of the substantive postholder.
Experience of working with children with SEN and ASC/behavioural difficulties would be an advantage.
Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College is a generic special school which caters for 222 children and young people, aged 3-16. All of our pupils have complex needs and have an EHCP in place. The majority of pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASC. A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties.
