St Helens Library Service is recruiting Library Support Officer (37 hours) based at Chester Lane Library.

This is an opportunity for you to join a nationally renowned and exciting Library Service that provides a quality and diverse range of services to residents across the borough.
The successful candidate will become a member of the Library Support Unit with responsibility for all administrative aspects of the service. This includes timetabling and the deployment of front-line library staff, ordering and invoice processing, compiling data and updating systems and cash management. You will be responsible for reporting building maintenance issues, producing correspondence to customers and minuting meetings, amongst other administrative duties.
To undertake this role, you will have:
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of Office Systems and equipment
• Experience of minute taking
• The ability to manage data and computerised systems
