Job Description
To be located in: BIT, Outreach Services to schools, Sarah Cowley Building, Gamble Avenue. St Helens

(Please note that you will be required to work in schools around the authority).

Are you skilled in working with young people in an educational setting?
Are you able to build effective relationships and communicate well with young people?
Are you able to create and follow bespoke support plans for individuals or small groups of pupils?
Do you have experience working with young people with challenging behaviour?
Are you confident when working independently and as part of a team?

Can you:
 Engage and motivate?
Inspire and support?
Demonstrate experience and commitment?
Engender enthusiasm?
Show resilience, knowledge and humour in the face of challenge?
Co-operate with others as a strong team member?
Work flexibly to undertake a range of tasks?
Evidence strong pupil centred focus?
Provide direction, guidance and care for troubled young people?
Communicate well with colleagues and peers?
