We are recruiting across our Children’s Social Care Services, including Duty, SW Assessment and Children We Look After

St Helens Offers to ASYEs
 Regular supervision from their Team Manager/Assessor;
 Weekly for the first 6 weeks, fortnightly up to six months, monthly thereafter;
 A wellbeing plan to review and support their emotional wellbeing through their first year in practice.
 Additional reflective supervision and help to identify evidence for the portfolio from their Mentor;
 Opportunities to develop knowledge and skills, and provision of 10% protected time for training and development over the year;
 Reduced caseload of 10%, with no sole responsibility for complex cases and court work; mentoring support including opportunities to shadow and co-work with a more experienced social worker.
 A learning and development session per month focused on Learning and Development.
 These will be led by the Advanced Practitioners within the improvement team. An ASYE support session per month with the ASYE Coordinator

This is a hybrid position with some home working, however the post will require you to be based at our offices in St Helens and be able to attend the St Helens area regularly as part of your work.
