An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established Social Care team in the Emergency Department at Whiston Hospital. We are an enthusiastic multi-disciplinary team with the primary aim of ensuring a safe and timely discharge of patients across a number of local authorities.
The work is diverse, challenging and rewarding, requiring individuals to be able to work independently and contribute to the working of a larger multi-disciplinary team. The team is a mixed skill group with a range of experience who provide a supportive working environment.
You would be expected to work on a rolling 7 day rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
During the pandemic, team members are not currently based at the A&E Department and are working remotely from an office on site.
