To be based in: PACE, Derbyshire Hill Road/Beacon Building, College Street. Please note that you will be required to work in schools across the Borough.
We are seeking to appoint a talented, committed and highly motivated individual to the post of BIT Teacher. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes for students with significant individual needs and whose previous experience of schooling has, for whatever reasons, not been wholly positive. Candidates will require experience of creating individual behaviour plans, multi-agency working and offering individualised advice/training for classroom staff.
The Outreach Services offer bespoke support packages to schools; supporting school staff working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviours, supporting Pastoral Support Plans in schools, attending professional and family meetings, delivering training (including Team Teach), working individually with pupils, and supporting managed moves and placements in PACE.
