Making A Difference as a Safeguarding Secretary, Children’s Social Care
An opportunity has arisen for a Safeguarding Secretary to work in the Children’s Social Care Business Support Team – Safeguarding Unit.
This post will be responsible for arranging and minuting safeguarding meetings, providing a
comprehensive and confidential service to the team; undertaking the associated administration work on the safeguarding systems and management information for the department.
This post is an opportunity for a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and has the ability to liaise with customers, managers, colleagues and other agencies.
You must have the ability to work within allocated timescales and will be expected to provide cover when required within the team. You must also have a proven ability to work under pressure in a team environment and be able to use your own initiative.
The successful applicants will have:
• experience of working within office administration
• Experience of minuting meetings
• Excellent IT Skills
• Excellent Communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
The hours of work are 37 hours per week.
