Job Description

Would you relish the opportunity to support our pupil’s their families and our staff in a highly inclusive and innovative establishment? We believe Willow Bank School is a centre of best practice for personal development, pastoral care and teaching and learning. We require an experienced, committed, and hardworking Clerical Officer to join us to support in a busy office and work alongside the school Leadership Team. Willow Bank School is an SEMH provision for pupils aged 8 – 16.

This post combines both clerical and administrative tasks within the varied and demanding environment of a special school. We are seeking a candidate who can effectively multitask, demonstrate flexibility in their approach, and is eager to learn and adapt positively to the evolving dynamics of each day.

The successful candidate will
• Be able to interact effectively with adults and children, maintaining a pleasant manner and excellent communication skills when engaging with visitors, parents, staff, and pupils.
• Be proficient in using IT programs and packages, knowledge of school systems such as CPOMs, Arbor, and EHAT is desirable (training provided if necessary).
• Be able to efficiently manage clerical and administrative tasks within a busy school office while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Be capable of prioritising workload effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Be enthusiastic and adaptable, able to work independently or as part of a team, drawing on initiative to undertake a wide range of responsibilities.
