Job Description
Start Date: September 2025
Are you an experienced or aspiring Early Years/Specialist Teacher ready to shape a new chapter in inclusive education?
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate teacher to work across two unique and nurturing specialist settings—Grove and The Orchard, part of the wider Rectory CoE Primary School community.
Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking a teacher to join our passionate team, working with children with autism and complex communication needs. The Orchard, our brand-new provision, opens in September 2025 and complements The Grove, our existing specialist setting. Both sites provide bespoke, structured environments rooted in early years approaches, play-based learning, and individualised support.

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
• Has a deep passion for Early Years education and inclusive practice.
• Brings experience—or genuine enthusiasm—to work with children with autism, sensory needs, and social-communication differences.
• Is nurturing, creative, and able to adapt learning to suit the developmental stage of each child.
• Communicates effectively with a wide range of adults and works in close partnership with families and professionals.
• Is resilient, optimistic, and eager to make a meaningful difference every day.

What We Offer
At The Grove and The Orchard, we offer:
• A rare opportunity to help shape a growing specialist provision from its foundation.
• A warm, collaborative staff culture focused on holistic, child-centred education.
• A curriculum led by EHCP outcomes and delivered through the EQUALS framework, with informal and semi-formal pathways.
• Continuous professional development, including training in Attention Autism, Makaton, and sensory integration.
• A strong link to our mainstream school community, enabling rich inclusion opportunities for all children.
• A joyful, supportive workplace where no two days are the same—and every day is filled with purpose and connection.
