Job Description
The Governors of Robins Lane Primary School wish to appoint an outstanding, highly-motivated and ambitious Deputy Headteacher who embodies our motto – Aim High, Fly High and can support us with our ambition to be outstanding.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to secure excellent outcomes for all our children from their individual starting points.

The responsibilities of the post are flexible/negotiable to welcome the strengths of the ideal candidate. The post will come with a 0.6 teaching commitment and is to commence in September 2023.

Visits to our school are welcomed and can be arranged by appointment. Please contact the school office to make a suitable appointment with our Headteacher.

Applications should be submitted online or returned to the school for the attention of the Headteacher, Mrs Nichola Tomkow, by midday on the closing date of Monday 6th March 2023. If applying online, please also send a covering letter (no more than two pages) by email (robinslane@sthelens.org.uk) or by post to the school detailing your suitability.

Initial shortlisting will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday 7th March 2023 and successful candidates will be contacted by email/telephone.

Lesson observations are due to take place on Monday 13th March and Tuesday 14th March 2023 in candidates’ current settings (where available).

Interviews and tasks will take place on Friday 17th March 2023.
