Details: Required as soon as possible - a Level 2 TA to work in our school supporting a child who has specific social and emotional needs. The child needs support to access the learning and make good progress as well as support with emotional wellbeing and challenging behaviours.
The governors of this Community Primary school wish to appoint an enthusiastic and resourceful person who can ensure that children can access their learning.
You will be able to demonstrate the following;
You need to be a calm, patient and resilient, able to work well within a team and have the ability to make a positive contribution to the life of the school.
A minimum qualification of NVQ L2 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent
It is a requirement that you can evidence that you have worked with children with specific learning needs before.
It is requirement that you can evidence your work in the classroom as a 1-2-1 support staff
You will have the ability to build effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues, be able to promote a positive ethos and promote a positive attitude as a role model and have the ability to work with children at all levels regardless of specific individual need.
This posts is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure certificate.
