We require a dynamic, committed, and hardworking Teaching Assistants to join us in our new multi-million-pound school building who is passionate about pupil engagement and progression. Willow Bank School is an SEMH provision for pupils aged 8 – 16.
We are seeking a number of Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 and classroom support for pupils with complex needs, who can, at times, present with challenging behaviours. Experience of supporting children to regulate and engage in learning and activities is essential, along with a willingness to participate in Team Teach training. Individuals with relevant experience from settings other than education are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to ensure that pupils’ special educational needs are addressed in line with the pupil’s individual EHCP whilst having due regard for the school’s philosophy and policies.
