Job Description
Do you have fabulous customer care skills? Think you would you enjoy working in a leisure centre environment and could become a great asset to our front-line customer service team? If so, then dive into applying for this role with passion, motivation, and support us in delivering outstanding customer service.
Newton-Le-Willows Health & Fitness are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individual with excellent customer care skills to work in the Council's Health & Fitness facility.

Ideally we are looking for an individual with first-hand experience of working in the Leisure industry, enjoys working as part of a team and has excellent communication skills with a good understanding of service delivery.

Day to day duties include processing membership applications, answering customer enquiries, usage of the telephone plus our computerised till system. Each of the tasks require a high level of interaction and communication with customers so it is imperative you are confident to work front of house.

You will be required to work weekends with a commitment to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and provide cover for colleagues and to attend training when required.
Plus! If you are successful, you will be eligible for the following benefits:
- Paid training opportunities to expand your skills, qualifications, and experience.
- Four weeks Annual Leave entitlement, plus Bank Holiday entitlement
- Access to the full Go Active facilities, including our gyms, group exercise classes and of course, swimming.
- Enhanced rates for weekend work (time and a half) if you have worked within the same role, within the same week

If you have the appropriate skills and experience to add value to our service, then we would like to hear from you.

Council employees are required to abide by the ethical standards embodied by the 7 NOLAN principles of conduct in public life. These include selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, and leadership.

We welcome applications from the BAME community. So, what are you waiting for, take the leap and join us!
