We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and patient Learning Assistant to provide support to a child with behavioural needs within KS1. Experience of Early Years and KS1 is preferable.
The successful candidate will uphold our school values of Friendship, Compassion, Forgiveness, Respect, Truthfulness and Trust, Perseverance and Thankfulness, whilst developing a love of learning for our children.
The successful candidate will be expected to have good communication and organisational skills and be able to relate well to children. They will need to demonstrate positive behaviour management.
NVQ Level 2 qualification or working towards NVQ Level 2 is desirable, as is experience of working as a Teaching Assistant supporting learning in a primary school setting.
The post is subject to budgetary restrictions and will initially be a temporary post for a year with a view to extending if funding is approved.
