We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced School Games Assistant. It is a fixed term contract to end 31st July 23 with the possibility for a further extension subject to funding.
The purpose of the role is to support in the delivery of School Games programme for primary, secondary and special schools across St Helens. The service delivers competitions across the borough and encourages participation in sport and physical activity.
The post will be based primarily within the Sports Development team at St Helens Council.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a good understanding of school sport and of the organisation and delivery of school sport events. A flexible approach to duties and working hours will be required.
