The St Helens P.R.U. caters for pupils excluded or at risk of exclusion from mainstream High Schools.
Age ranges between 11-14. This is SEMH provision where pupils experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
The person appointed will support the development and achievement of all pupils. Pupils are either dual registered with a High School, or single registered with launchpad Key Stage 3. Support may involve, in class, one to one in class or as an activity out of school.
We are a small staff group, therefore, good teamwork, an ability to work under pressure and an understanding of working with pupils with challenging behaviour is essential.
Experience of delivering high quality classroom support is important. An ability to help pupils progress academically is essential.
The post is subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
