Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College is a generic special school which caters for 222 children and young people, aged 3-16. All of our pupils have complex needs and have an EHCP in place. The majority of pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASC. A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties.
Our school has a family ethos, as such we encourage applications from teachers who are keen to facilitate the best learning experiences for our children and the best professional role model for our learning assistants. Helping others and keeping the team thriving is important to us. We have high professional expectations but aim for this to be presented in an approachable and supportive manner.
There is an expectation the successful candidate will work across the school however we would welcome experience of early child development. Experience of working with children with SEN and ASC/behavioural difficulties would be an advantage.
We have high expectations of our staff, in order to get the best outcomes for our wonderful pupils.
If you are child centred, hard-working and of a positive disposition, we'd love to hear from you.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
