The Governors of The Federation of St Mary’s Catholic Schools wish to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and hard-working person who communicates well and enjoys working in a busy school office. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school and support the development of communication of the schools’ stakeholders. The post is mainly based at the infant site, but you may be required to cover at the junior site if needed. The hours are 35 per week, starting at 8.30am and finishing at 4.00pm with half hour lunch.
Duties will include:
- General correspondence – such as creating letters and newsletters.
- Use of on-line payment systems to record and reconcile income and school meals
- Reception duties, answering telephone and face to face enquires
- Management of SIMS systems
- Using Microsoft Office Programmes
- Attendance monitoring
- Responsibility for Nursery and Reception admissions
- Preparing packs for new pupil intake
