We are seeking to recruit to the role of Senior Learning Assistant at St Helens Alternative Provision Service. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people who need additional support to succeed in their education and personal development.

At St Helens Alternative Provision Service, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where each student is encouraged to achieve their full potential. Our service is tailored to meet the diverse needs of our pupils, providing not only academic support but also fostering personal growth and resilience. You will be confident in managing small groups and individuals, using creative and engaging strategies to inspire and motivate. In addition to assisting with classroom activities, you will also provide vital cover and support to ensure a consistent and positive learning environment.

We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic, with a strong commitment to helping all pupils succeed. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and benefit from professional development opportunities within a supportive network of colleagues.

The role will initially be based within our KS4 provision. However, there is an expectation that you could be deployed across any of the five St Helens Alternative Provision Service bases.
