Required:
The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and caring Level 3 Learning Assistant to provide support within our new STRIDE (ASD) Units across both schools.
The successful candidate will fully support the vision and ethos set for the new units and be committed to building pupils’ self-esteem, self-discipline and love of learning to underpin their progress in the basic skills.
The successful candidate will liaise with our lead teacher and SENCO to provide exceptional ASD provision and support for our partnership community.
This role will include working with a variety of children with ASD needs and catering for their needs.
We are looking for candidate who is keen to develop their professional knowledge of meeting the needs of ASD children.
Candidates must be calm under pressure, able to adapt strategies, form good relationships and also to respond to individual’s needs.
The successful candidate will also need to be able to interact effectively and plan for purposeful learning.
