Job Description
The Governors of Robins Lane Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding and compassionate Teacher who embodies our school motto – ‘Aim High, Fly High’.

This is a fixed-term post, commencing in September 2025 until 31st August 2026, to work within our bespoke provision for a mixed-age group of pupils with a high level of need, including some with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Pupils are supported in a nurturing and inclusive environment, where teaching is tailored to their individual developmental stages rather than their chronological age.

The exact class structure will be finalised based on the strengths and experience of the successful candidate. We are looking for a teacher with a strong understanding of inclusive practice, who is passionate about enabling all children to achieve success at their own pace and in their own way.

The successful candidate will;
• Believe they can make a difference
• Be supportive of the inclusive ethos of the school
• Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
• Be enthusiastic and motivate children
• Be a creative and highly effective classroom teacher
• Create a stimulating learning environment
• Be committed to raising standards
• Be flexible and hard-working
• Be sensitive to the needs of our children and families

In return, we will offer you;
• Happy, caring children with a thirst for learning
• An opportunity to make a difference
• A strong, shared vision for our school
• Opportunities for personal and professional development
• A supportive and encouraging team of staff and governors

Visits to the school are encouraged and can be arranged by telephoning our school office on 01744 678503 to make a suitable appointment.

The deadline for applications is midday on Thursday 3rd July 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by phone / email on the afternoon of 3rd July. Lesson observations and interviews will take place in week commencing 7th July 2025.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Please see the school website using this link, www.robinslane.co.uk for our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
