Learning Assistant Level 2 plus SEN (temporary)
25 hours per week, term time + 1 week
The Governors of St Peter’s C.E. Primary School are seeking to appoint a skilled, caring, thoughtful and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant as soon as possible to support a pupil with additional needs.
This post is linked to SEN Funding and will cease if the child leaves or the funding stops.
You will work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting pupil independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. You will assist pupils so they can access the curriculum, participate in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
Candidates must be committed to continuing professional development. Candidates must be able to work as part of a skilled, well - informed and positive team of staff and be able to think creatively to meet pupils’ needs.

Experience of working with children with additional needs and children with challenging behaviour will be an advantage. Team teach is desirable.
