Making A Difference as a Library Supervisor in St Helens Library Service

This is an opportunity for you to join a nationally renowned Library Service that provides a quality and diverse range of services for its customers, including a vibrant arts in libraries programme.

You must have management experience as you will be responsible for managing buildings and supervising a team of staff across different libraries. You will be responsible for developing events and activities for adults and children and will work in partnership to ensure that the library reaches out and is part of the local community offer.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about libraries, books and developing reading skills and someone who wants to make a real difference in the community. You must have excellent communication and ICT skills.

This post includes weekend working and successful candidates may be required to work at any Library Service point across the Borough at service need.
