Details:
The Governors of St Cuthbert’s Catholic High School are looking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Manager to supervise our Behaviour Support Unit.
The main purpose and objects of the job include:
• To supervise the Behaviour Support Unit throughout the working day of the Unit.
• To work with students to prevent exclusions.
• To work with students to remove barriers to learning.
• To support the improvement of students' levels of attendance.
• To help students to achieve their true potential.
• To work with Pastoral staff and SLT for effective reintegration of students back into lessons.
The successful applicant should have the following experience (including teaching practice):
• Successful experience of working with children from the 11 – 16 age group
• Experience of working in a BSU
• Experience of mentoring
• Knowledge of the KS3 & 4 curriculums
