The governors of St. Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School invite applications from practising Catholics who are suitably qualified, outstanding, and inspirational teachers, to play an important role as Deputy Headteacher.
The successful candidate will be required to work with the Headteacher to demonstrate:
• A clear understanding of Catholic Education and the ability to promote, enhance and actively support our Catholic Ethos and Mission Statement
• Have strong knowledge of the role of Deputy Headteacher and working in partnership with colleagues, parents, governors, external agencies and the wider community
• An ability to inspire children and colleagues
• Demonstrate experience in leadership
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
• Outstanding classroom teaching and have high expectations of achievements for all and be capable of securing and maintaining high standards of pupil achievement and behaviour
• A commitment to continue our school improvement with a vibrant and dedicated team
