Job Description
Clerical Assistant required from: September 2022

29 hours per week term time only plus 2 days

8.00am to 2.00pm (30 minute lunch) Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
8.00am to 3.30pm (30-minute lunch) Thursday

The governors of Sutton Oak CE Primary School wish to appoint a Clerical Assistant to work alongside the Administration Assistant in our successful school, under the supervision of the School Business Manager.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT skills, have an excellent telephone manner and organisational skills. Knowledge of SIMS and working in a school office are desirable.

The successful candidate must be able to use their initiative and have excellent time management. They must be able to pay attention to detail and provide accurate reports through the use of the school’s data collection systems.
They must be able to support and facilitate the work of others, be flexible and adaptable, be able to work under pressure and be able to work to deadlines.

Duties will include but are not restricted to, Reception and general office duties, record keeping, upkeep of the school website.

The successful candidate will be expected to be part of the wider life of school, supporting fundraising and charity events.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the School Business Manager and Headteacher.
