Job Description
St Helens Borough Council is looking to recruit an experienced professional to join our busy team of Independent Reviewing Officers and Child Protection Conference Chairs. The post holder will have;-
- experience in chairing complex meetings
- a sound understanding of the legislation and statutory guidance
- significant experience in child protection work
- a minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience
- experience of managing complex cases and supervising staff

Your primary responsibilities will be to chair multi-agency meetings, including allegations against adults who work with children and supporting the auditing process. You will report directly to the Head of Service for Safeguarding and Quality Assurance.
