The Governors of Sherdley Primary School wish to appoint an experienced part-time class-based Learning Support Assistant’s to work with children in Year 5.
The candidate must have experience in KS2 in a primary school setting (ideally a minimum of two years in a school provision) and possess the aptitude and desire to support the delivery of quality education. The candidate should be experienced in the KS2 curriculum and in the delivery of intervention programmes. Ideally candidates should have experience of working with children with SEN and vulnerable children, please make your KS2 experience clear in the application.
The role will consist of:
· Supporting pupil learning in class, groups or one-to-one
· Provide structured programmes to pupils
· Preparing and maintaining teaching resources
· Assist in a high quality of provision of welfare for all pupils

Personal Qualities:
The applicant should be experienced at working in a team within a KS2 environment, be hard-working, enthusiastic, adaptable, able to work on own initiative and be part of a team. The successful candidate should have high expectations of themselves and our children. You must be a caring, responsible person who works well in a team. You will need to have an understanding of SEND, and will have a working knowledge of, and the delivery of, intervention programmes within lower KS2.
