The Governors wish to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and caring individual to support children with complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The candidate will work 29 hours per week Monday- Friday.
Previous experience of supporting children with physical, behavioural and social needs would be an advantage as well as prior experience in the early years/ key stage 1. This role is subject to funding and will cease when funding ceases or the child leaves the school.
The successful applicant must be willing to take ownership of tailoring the learning and resources to the child they work with, in particular, the environment around them. A flexible approach to duties will be required, together with a desire to work as part of a team and contribute to the wider life of school. Candidates must be committed to overcoming barriers to learning to enable all children to reach their full potential.
Candidates must be willing to undertake Paediatric First Aid Training.
