Thank you for your interest in the post of Assistant SENCO at Rectory CoE Primary School. We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious practitioner who strives for excellence and has a passion for inclusion. We would like to appoint someone who champions to our children and ensuring the highest standards for all and is prepared to go the extra mile to establish and drive forward our specialist provision the Orchard Site in Clockface.
The successful candidate must be committed to embedding and promoting the Christian ethos of the school, forming positive relationships with children, staff, parents, governors, and the local community whilst maintaining high standards and expectations for all.
Our Assistant SENCO will act as DDSL at our new site and have some teaching responsibility and the role as SENCO for the 32 children. The role will mean that you can be fully immersive in the setup, implementation and day to day life at The Orchard and be instrumental in creating a positive and nurturing environment that our children can thrive in.
Rectory is one-form primary school soon to be across two sites in Downall Green, South Wigan (Woodland and Grove) and Clockface (Orchard). It is an exciting time to join us on our journey, shaping our offer as we grow our specialist offer across the borough.
