Making A Difference as a Gully Operative within the Highways Services.

We are looking to recruit a Gully Operative to work within the Civils Engineering Section of St. Helens Borough Council, based at Hardshaw Brook Depot.

The role entails the undertaking of statutory highway drainage and gully cleansing across the borough of St Helens.
Applicants should be experienced in highways maintenance or drainage services and possess the relevant skills to operate vacuum tanker and high-pressure water jetting unit, as well as a basic knowledge of Chapter 8 signing, lighting and guarding.

A current driving licence is desirable.
