The Difference you will Make in the role of Complex Safeguarding Early Help Worker

This role will work alongside the Complex Safeguarding Team and Early Help Teams to support the development of early help responses to children affected by exploitation. This role will very much be about partnership working with the police, social workers, and professionals involved with children and their families to support them to develop robust plans for children to reduce risks and improve outcomes.

The right individual will have experience and knowledge of exploitation and the impact it has on children, excellent communication skills and experience of developing early help plans for children. You will also be experienced in working directly with young people and their families using a range of tools and interventions including delivering training and group work.

The Complex Safeguarding Team is committed to developing services and response for children and young people and we would welcome your commitment to coming and joining us at this exciting time as we build our team and capacity to work alongside services and professionals to reduce exploitation in St Helens.

Although this post is only fixed term depending on successful outcomes there could be further scope for the role to be extended beyond this.

Who should Apply?

If you have an NVQ 4 qualification in a related subject such as, Child Care, Youth Work, Working with Complex families or Health and Social Care, or the ability to work towards this qualification, we would welcome your application.
