Job Description
St John Vianney Catholic Primary School is looking to appoint a teacher to join our hard-working, friendly team from September 2023. This is a 12-month temporary contract.

St John Vianney Catholic Primary School is a popular and successful school with a highly supportive Governing Body. We have a hard working team of teachers and support staff who work effectively together. All staff are committed to ensuring every child is safe and has access to quality learning opportunities and achieves the best they can. We have a highly effective safeguarding and pastoral team who support pupils and families in order to promote and maintain positive mental health, excellent behaviour and address barriers to learning.

The successful candidate must;
· Be an excellent classroom practitioner.
· Demonstrate high expectations for all pupils including key groups.
· Promote positive behaviour for learning.
· Demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies and outstanding pastoral care.
· Use effectively a wide range of creative approaches to the delivery of the curriculum.
· Contribute to the wider life of the school community, including after school clubs/activities.
