Making A Difference as A Leisure Assistant in Leisure Services

Calling all Lifeguards… We want you!

Do you hold a lifeguard qualification? Think you would you enjoy working in a leisure environment and become a great asset to our front-line customer service team? If so, dive into this role with passion, motivation, and creativity to deliver outstanding customer service for Go Active.

Queens Park Health and Fitness is looking for two suitably experienced individuals with excellent customer care skills to work in the Council's Health & Fitness facility. Day to day duties will include swimming pool supervision, general cleaning and housekeeping tasks and equipment set up. Each of these tasks requires a high level of interaction and communication with customers, including the completion of customer facility tours. You will be required to work shifts including evenings, early mornings and weekends and we need a commitment to working flexibly to meet the needs of the service, to provide cover for colleagues and to attend training when required.

Plus! If you are successful, you will be eligible for the following benefits:

· Paid training opportunities to expand your skills, qualifications, and experience.
· Four weeks Annual Leave entitlement, plus Bank Holiday entitlement
· Access to the full Go Active facilities, including the Fitness Suite, Classes, and Swimming
· Enhanced rates for weekend working which will attract an allowance of time and a half / double time if you have worked within the same role, within the same week
· You will also receive an extra allowance for evening work

If you hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification Certificate or are willing to gain the qualification within 12 weeks of commencement and have the skills and experience to add value to our service, then we would like to hear from you.

PLEASE NOTE: The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification an essential criteria for both vacancies:
