The salary for this post is SCP 23-32 however consideration will be given to an additional £2,000 Recruitment & Retention allowance upon appointment for experienced Social Workers.
Within St Helens we have a small specialist team of social workers who progress adoption plans for children and who provide post SGO support.
We welcome applications from social workers with two years experience of working within adoption and or SGO services The service has embarked on a wide range of improvement work to improve outcomes for children and families.
You will work to help support the effective and timely delivery of appropriate intervention and support services to children and their their families.
The successful applicant
will:
- Be committed to continuous professional development and practice improvement
- Possess good analytical, assessment and planning skills
- Have the ability to engage children and families
- Have the ability to effectively engage other professionals
