The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate, and caring Level 2 Learning Assistant to provide support within our SEND offer at Wargrave Primary School.
Wargrave’s nest provision is for children who have special education needs who struggle in a class setting full time.
The successful candidate will fully support the vision and ethos set for the provision and be committed to building pupils’ self-esteem, self-discipline and love of learning to underpin their progress in the basic skills.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience working with children with special educational needs and is keen to develop their professional knowledge of ASD.
Candidates must be calm under pressure, able to adapt strategies, form good relationships and to respond to individual’s needs of our wonderful children.
The successful candidate will play an active role with the implementation of EHCPs and Support Plans, to ensure the children’s needs are being met fully and removing barriers from their learning.
