The Governors of St Peter & St Paul Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and caring Learning Assistant to work within our successful and hard-working team.
No set hours, school will consider one full-time or two part-time applicants for this role, please state the hours you would like when applying.
We are seeking a colleague who:-
• Is sensitive to the needs of children.
• Is able to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills and is able to work independently.
• Will be professional at all times.
• Will be committed to the safeguarding of all children.
The successful candidate will provide support for pupils as part of our successful and committed staff team:-
• Supporting pupils to access the curriculum.
• Supporting class teachers with the preparation of resources and maintaining a high-quality, interactive environment for the children.
• Promoting good behaviour.
• Establishing positive relationships with parents/carers.
• Contributing to the ethos of the school and supporting with extra-curricular activities and events.
• Supporting the pupil with medical and toileting assistance.
