Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College is a generic special school which caters for 234 children and young people, aged 4-14. All of our pupils have complex needs and have an EHCP in place. The majority of pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASC. A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties.
Our motto is ‘Learn, Believe, Shine’ and we encourage this of our staff as well as our pupils. Lansbury Bridge is a special place to learn and work. Every day is different and brings with it, new joys and challenges making the role interesting and rewarding.
We have high expectations of our staff, in order to get the best outcomes for our wonderful pupils.
If you are child centred, hard-working and of a positive disposition, we'd love to hear from you.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. In line with this, we may carry out online checks on potential candidates following Keeping Children Safe In Education 2023.
