Following the retirement of our long service and valued Headteacher, the governing body of St Austin’s Catholic Primary School and the Diocese of Liverpool wish to appoint an inspirational Headteacher who is a committed practicing catholic to lead our warm and friendly Catholic school in the next stage of its journey.
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, highly motivated and ambitious individual who, in partnership with senior leaders and the Governing Body, will be instrumental in the continued success and ongoing development of our school.
The governors are looking for a Group 2 Headteacher who:
• Is a practising Catholic, with a strong faith and commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school and its community
• Is aspirational in your approach to the quality of teaching and learning and of the achievement and wellbeing of every child
• Is a role model who inspires and motivates others through their commitment, enthusiasm and dedication to raising standards
• Is a highly effective leader who can manage and organise the personnel, financial and professional needs of the school’s resources and staff
• Is an experienced leader with the interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with staff, children, parents, parish and governors
• Is a skilled communicator who can share and develop their vision of what makes a good school with the school’s shareholders
