Job Description
An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for an Intervention Tutor to join Mill Green School. The Governing Body of Mill Green School, an Outstanding 14-19 Community Special School in St Helens. The successful applicant will be required to work across the school to support young people with varying needs, closing the gaps in attainment and progress and also supporting accelerated progress for those identified as Gifted and Talented.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and creative professional team, committed to achieving the very highest standards for our learners and the position represents a unique opportunity for anyone who is interested in developing a career in education. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to benefit from bespoke training and support to develop themselves personally and professionally.

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates unconditional positive regard for young people and who has the highest expectations of themselves and others. The appointment is initially for 1 year in line with the National Tutor Programme Funding
