Job Description
Job Title: Learning Assistant – Level 2 +SEN
Hours of Duty: 29.17 per week (Term Time Only including 5 Additional days)
Closing Date: Friday, 18th July 2025 at 9:00am
Contract Term: Temporary - This post is linked to external funding and will cease in line with this or if the child leaves the setting.

Required to commence 1 September 2025


Details:
We require an experienced Learning Assistant to work with specific students with additional needs.

The successful candidate will be required to:
• Have good Numeracy/Literacy/Communication Skills
• Establish good working relationships with the students concerned, acting as role models
• Be aware of and respond appropriately to the student’s individual needs
• Provide one to one support within the classroom, enabling access to learning
• Be aware of and comply with school policies relating to child protection, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection
• It would be desirable for the candidate to have an appropriate qualification – i.e. NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants
