Job Description
Required as soon as possible.

Oakdene Primary School would like to appoint a proactive Learning Assistant who will support children at our friendly and welcoming school. You will work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting pupil independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.

You will provide cover supervision across the school and assist pupils in accessing the curriculum, participating in learning and experiencing a sense of achievement.

The governing body is looking for applicants who have:

• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A caring, calm and nurturing approach
• Patience, flexibility, use own initiative and demonstrate effective time management
