Oakdene Primary School require a permanent Learning Assistant (Level 3) to start immediately.

The post is for 30 hours, term time only + 5 INSET Days.

Oakdene School would like to appoint a pro-active Learning Assistant who will support children at our friendly and welcoming school. You will work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils while also promoting pupil independence, self-esteem and social inclusion. You will provide cover supervision across school and assist pupils in accessing the curriculum, participating in learning and experiencing a sense of achievement.

The governing body is looking for applicants who have:
· Excellent communication skills
· The ability to work as part of a team
· A caring, calm and nurturing approach
· Patience, flexibility, use own initiative and demonstrate effective time management

Hours of work will be discussed at Interview.
