We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to play a key role in commissioning high quality, person centred, value for money services and support to the Children and Young People of St Helens.
The post holder will be part of the Children and Young People Integrated Commissioning Team working across health, social care and education commissioning.
The focus of this role will be to support the commissioning of Local Authority services for children, young people and their families. This will include commissioning and performance monitoring providers supporting the Early Help, Healthy Child Programme and the SEND agendas.
As such a key task will be working collaboratively with stakeholders across the council, health partners, education, neighbouring local authorities and the voluntary sector to enable system transformation and delivery of quality commissioned services. We are looking for an individual who would enjoy the opportunities to work in a local care system and within an established integrated commissioning team, and who can drive ideas into action through their project management and service transformation skills.
You should have a flexible approach and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, social care professionals, educational professionals, health care professionals, children and young people and family members, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
