An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to support the implementation of the Locality Operating Model to guide service delivery across St Helens Borough.
Across St Helens there are wide variations in population makeup, deprivation levels and health needs between areas. This role will lead on relevant and timely intelligence on communities across St Helens Borough to support effective service planning and to determine the needs of each area, and how service delivery could be improved by locality working, developing a new relationship with residents, that puts them at the heart of decision making and provides an opportunity to create solutions to issues within communities.
Working with Senior Officers across all Directorates, as well as a wide range of key stakeholders and partner organisations, this role will support the transformation of the organisation by providing support, advice and guidance on project management, business improvement and transformation to inform service redesign and programme delivery.
Reporting to the Programme Manager within the Transformation team, you will support the strategic and operational leadership for the service and play a key role in supporting the Locality Lead Managers. You will have experience of effective partnership working, including negotiating skills and relationship building to forge collaborative relationships. Experience of project development, innovation and implementation is also a requirement.
You will be knowledgeable and confident in organising community outreach, and establishing and building effective multidisciplinary partnerships to meet the required needs of the local area.
