We are looking to appoint an SLA at PACE. PACE is part of the Alternative Provision Service and is the Pupil Referral Unit for key Stage 1 and 2 children.
You are invited to join a strong team who really want to make a positive difference to all the children who attend. The person appointed will support the development and achievement of pupils who are dual registered with the PRU’s and their mainstream school. This support may involve one to one, in class or support within the child’s mainstream school.
Enthusiasm, a good team ethic and an understanding of working with pupils with challenging behaviour is essential.
PACE has achieved the National Nurturing Schools Programme and so the personal development and wellbeing of all our pupils is of paramount importance.
The post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
The Alternative Provision Service is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
