We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Senior Learning Assistant to support pupils in our Re-Connect facility.
Re-Connect is medium-term pathway intervention for Key Stage 3 students. The pathway delivers a reflective curriculum alongside timetabled lessons to embed routine and confidence in attending lessons. A team of staff support pupils to maintain the highest professional standards though a specialised programme which helps support pupils to re-integrate back into the mainstream setting and enable students to develop effective strategies around resilience and behaviour.
The successful candidate will need strong communication skills along with patience, resilience, strength of character and a friendly determination to deal with some of our most vulnerable pupils and their families.
