This is a permanent position.

Details: We require a teacher to take on the role of SENDCo for one of our phases across school. The successful candidate will join our friendly, talented and caring SENDCo team that supports our Broad Oak family in a lively and creative setting. As one of our four SENDCos it will carry a position on the middle leadership team.

Broad Oak is an inclusive school that puts the needs of the children first. We enjoy excellent relationships with our families and the local community. We have a team of committed, hardworking staff, well behaved, motivated and enthusiastic children and a supportive school community.

We see this post as a key role in helping us to move the school forward on the next stage of our amazing journey. The successful candidate will help us to nurture and promote the emotional well-being of all our children, provide an outstanding education for everyone and join the leadership team in the strategic day to day running of the school.

This role is suitable for current or aspiring SENCos who wish to take the next steps in their leadership journey by joining our dedicated SENCo team in developing SEND provision across the school.

• Establish effective relationships with staff, families and other agencies

• Be willing to complete relevant CPD including the National Award for SEN Coordination
