An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing team as part of the reshaping of our ASD provision offer. The governors of Rectory C of E Primary school are looking to appoint 3 skilled teachers to work within our ASD Provisions.
At Rectory C of E Primary School, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do which is underpinned by our Christian ethos. With ‘God as our Strength’, we firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their potential regardless of background, special educational needs, gender, or any other barrier to achievement. We are a mainstream primary school with a Resourced Provision for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
For us achievement is holistic, our community strives to nurture rounded Christians ready to step out into the wider world to realise their dreams. We do this through a tailored curriculum developing pupils as individuals socially, academically, and spiritually.
Our Resourced provision is celebrated as a successful part of Rectory and we are proud to share our good practice and attract pupils from across the local authority and beyond.
From September 2022, the provision will be reshaped to a 32 place ASD specialist centre, offering 16 places for children in a Specialist Base and 16 places as part of the Resourced Provision.
Specialist Base:
The Specialist Base will cater for 16 pupils who have Autism and associated learning and communication difficulties and higher level of needs. The majority of these pupils’ learning will take place in the base, with access to the main school wherever possible depending upon individual learner’s needs.
Resourced Provision:
The Resourced Provision will cater for 16 pupils with Autism, who can access learning and the curriculum in a balanced way between the main school and Resourced base. Our expectation will be that children in the Resourced Provision will have the potential to access at least 50% of their learning in the main school.

- is a reflective, creative, and critical thinker and is able to work as effectively as part of a team
